As many of you already have seen, we released a new frontpage. More interactivity, better search. Last week the development team solved a list of small bugs and made some small enhancements. We are very pleased with the results, we hope you too.

When you open the Zimzer app and select your trip a new button will appear labelled "feedback". Ask your question, tap Send, and Boom!
The latest version (2.1) of the Zimzer iPhone app just went live in the App Store.
Most of our iPhone users search for a wifi hotspot and use the Zimzer app to update their blog. This is the fastest and cheapest way to keep your friends and family up to date, but it isn't very personal.
We've had a feature called "audioblogs" for a while now; just pick up the phone, call our number and leave your message. Today we release a new feature: audioblogging build right into our iPhone app! Just find a wifi hotspot, record your message, hit stop and we will place the recording on your blog within 5 minutes.
The next step; record audioblogs offline and sync them on a later time.
Facebook released the "Like" buttons 2 days ago. Zimzer just finished integrating these buttons today! From now on you can "like" photos and travelblogs, and so can friends and family.
Share your trip with all your facebook friends in one click. We hope you "Like" it as much as we do

He's ready for download, the new iPhone app. It hit the appstore with a fresh new 'look & feel' and loads of new functionality. You can edit your trip order, add trips, view photos, upload photos, edit your schedule and of course... write blogs offline. All you need on your travels is this app and your passport.
You're probably wondering why the Zimzer Blog looks so awesome! We've just finished the font selector, wich you can find under "Layout" in the travel admin.
We think custom fonts give your blog that extra touch and are a great addition to already Awesome Zimzer travelblogs.

Easter is coming! That's why we've hidden an easter egg in Zimzer. The first five people who tell us the "secret code" get a free premium account. Which means you'll be able to upload 5000 photos for free and create your own custom trip headers. You'll be one of the first, because we didn't start our premium member program yet. Here is a hint:
"Change your trip avatar. Move the gallery items over your trip."

"What's one of the most important features of Zimzer?" Lot's of people asked us this during our visit to SXSW last week. Answer? Speed! You're blogging on the go and have no time to lose. Zimzer is lightning fast and we try to make it faster every day.
Faster search
We received loads of email with questions and suggestions regarding the search on Zimzer. Sorry it took some time, but we only wanted to release a new search if we could guarantee speed. After our release last month we only received compliments. Thanks for that guys!
Faster photo upload
Next inline was the photo upload. The current version is using a resize function to resize photos client side before it starts uploading. This way the upload times are 10 to 20 times less then it would be without resizing. Today we will release the next version of this photo uploader. Again, it's faster now. Resizing of Jpeg...
